ＴＯＥＩＣ(R)テストの問題形式の変更について


ＴＯＥＩＣ(R)テストの日本国内の運営・実施を行う、(財)国際ビジネスコミュニケーション協会は、第122回公開テスト[2006年5月28日実施]よりＴＯＥＩＣ(R)テストの問題形式を変更する旨の発表をしました。その変更の概要と各問題Partごとの変更のようすは以下のようになります。

■　問題形式変更の対象となるテスト
ＴＯＥＩＣ(R)テストには、受験方法により、公開テストとＩＰテスト（団体特別受験制度[ＩＰ]によるテスト）の２種類があります。
そのうち、2006年5月より問題形式の変更が適用されるのは公開テストです。
ＩＰテストは2007年度以降になる予定です。ＩＰテストは2006年5月以降2006年度中は現状の形式のまま実施されます。

■　問題形式変更のスケジュール
公開テストは2006年5月28日より問題形式が変わります。
ＩＰテストにおける今回の問題形式の変更は2007年度以降になる予定です。

　■　Part I 問題形式の変更

＞問題形式の変更はありません

写真を見ながら４つの英文を聞き、写真を説明する最も適当な１文を選ぶ「写真描写問題」。問題形式に変更はありません。ただし、２０問だった問題数は１０問に減少します。

質問を聞いた後、３つの英文を聞き、質問の回答となりうる最も適当な１文を選ぶ「会話文応答問題」。問題数（３０問）も変わりません。変更はありません。

２人の会話を聞いた後、４つの英文を聞き、会話を説明する最も適当な１文を選ぶ「会話文内容一致問題」。問題数（３０問）は変わりません。ただし、これまで出題音声と設問は１対１対応をしていましたが、変更後は出題音声１つにつき３問の問題が出題されます。

説明文を聞いた後、４つの英文を聞き、内容にくいちがいの無い最も適当な１文を選ぶ「説明文問題」。２０問だった問題数は３０問に増加。ただし、これまで出題音声と設問は１対１対応をしていましたが、変更後は出題音声１つにつきに３問の問題が出題されます。

＞誤文訂正問題 → 長文空所補充問題

問題形式が変わります。誤文訂正問題はなくなり、「長文空所補充問題」になります。
また、２０題あった問題数も１２問に減少。変更後の形式の長文空所補充問題は３つの長文に対して各４問の問題が出題されます。

　■　Part VII 問題形式の変更

＞問題形式に大きな変更はありません

「長文内容一致問題」。問題数は４０問から４８問（２８問＋２０問）に増加。
Part VII の中に、従来型の長文内容一致問題（２８問）と新規導入の「Double Passages」（２０問）と呼ばれる２タイプの長文が出題されます。
「Double Passages」は、例えばe-mailの往信と返信のように関連する２つの長文が提示されて解答するタイプ。
